Holy ablution in Tirta Mumbul
During a visit to the sacred area of Tirta Mumbul in Mengwi province on Bali, a Pemangku priest pours holy water on a believer's hair (Penglukatan). Then the praying person is given some cooked rice corns (bija) from a tray into the right hand, which is then transferred to the left hand and sticking in portions to the forehead, right and left and neck. The last grains will be eaten.
