Habitat: Humid rainforests in the lowlands, also dense evergreen forest
Food: Mainly animal food such as insects (termites), but also berries, seeds and grasses
Life expectancy: approx. 10 years

The animals are diurnal, ground-dwelling, quite shy and rarely leave their cover. Therefore, little is known about their way of life in the wild.

The Indochina peacock pheasant is one of the most commonly kept peacock pheasants.

Lebenserwartung: ca. 10 Jahre

Die Tiere sind tagaktiv, bodenbewohnend, recht scheu und verlassen nur selten ihre Deckung. Daher ist über ihre Lebensweise in freier Wildbahn wenig bekannt.

Der Indochina-Pfaufasan ist einer der am häufigsten gehaltenen Pfaufasane.
