Inside the Potala

This photo was captured with my NIKON CoolPix and the self-timer on the camera. During my first visit inside the Potala it was allowed to photograph in this room only - three years later the same room was closed and we only had a look from outside through the window. Taking photographs now completely is forbidden.
The young man beside me is our Tibetan guide who brought us to the Kailash mountain for doing the holy Kora pilgrimage, the circumambulation around the mountain.
