It's déjà vu all over again on the Hudson

As Yogi once famously remarked, "it’s déjà vu all over again," as New York Waterways 79-foot catamaran ferry
“Yogi Berra” approaches the World Financial Center Ferry Terminal in Lower Manhattan on this June afternoon.

The New York Sun Journal reported when the 75 year old Yankees legend christened the new vessel in 2000, he adapted one of his famous malapropisms to give the captain some sage navigational advice: “When you come to a fork in the river, take it!”

Incidentally, if the “Yogi Berra” looks familiar from television news coverage, it was one of the vessels that
quickly converged to where USAir Flight 1549 had made its emergency landing on the Hudson in 2009,
after both engines were crippled from ingesting Canada geese after take-off from LaGuardia Airport.

That’s Jersey City across the river.
