    I have a nice story, about the palace shown on this photo. There was a famous prostetute who owned this palace. The maharaja was of the opinion, that such a lady of easy virtue was not intitled to have such a beautiful building. He threatened to demolish ist. So the lady went to the Bramin Priests for advice. They told her to build a small temple on top of the building. As such the maharaja could not get the building broken up, as it would have been a great sukrilege. So this must be the only brothel in the world having a temple. That is India ....!

    Very nice photo ! we have been there in February, 2009, at that time the reservoir was empty and dry ! But, Jaisalmer is a marvelous place, as a lot places in India ! Best wishes from Germany, Nameless 47 (see my photos from Hampi/Karnataka !)
