Joyride America

Driving on my way down to virgina, i came along a loud group of bikers and their wives. After speeding up, driving with one hand and trying my best to get a steady shot, i snapped this shot

Could become an American icon. This is a superior example of the power of assymtrical composition for it keeps the viewer IN the image. The bike in the lead holds the anticipatory promise of new vistas and the foreground bike, larger and more ablurr in movement holds the eye fast and takes us along for the ride. It catches us up in the draft of the momentum, breathless and feeling the wind in our hair...good tonal ranges, and the wind driven dance of the rider's shirt can almost be felt. Good job, Travis!
