Elephant calves follow their mother within five meters until they are nine years old.
Elephants in turn are often accompanied by cattle egrets, that catch the insects that jump or fly up when an elephant foot approaches ????

Very good wildlife shot of this elephant mom on the walk with her newborn calf.Beautiful natural colours, great sharpness, lovely light and the cattle egret is a fine extra bonus.
