Keeping an "Eye" on the Thames
A gray and chilly November afternoon along the Thames in 2012…
Nonetheless, the London Eye beckoned for some aerial perspectives of this inviting city.
As the great wheel lifted our compartment high above the Thames, Mother Nature smiled that special “visiting photographer” smile,
and something lovely started happening in the western sky, with shafts of sunlight selectively peaking through the late day cloud cover.
The view was captured on Fuji Velvia-50 slide film in my Contax G2, through a Zeiss 28 mm Biogon lens.
