Kingfisher
It's not the greatest Kingfisher photo I admit but I was quite pleased with it. And even more pleased to watch it catch some fish on another visit. Now I know why specialist bird photographers carry around those massive lenses :-)

Yes,Andy, massive lenses for better shots but also...at the expense of so many other things!....Especially flexibility. Even this shot is a good one, the kingfischer like Narcissus admiring his own reflection!regards alex

I once missed a shot and then sat for five hours waiting for the Kingfisher to return to its perch....... so to me this is a good shot. The bird is on its tree in the sunlight and has a very good reflection so very well done.:))
