Kopfüber
Der Gelbrandkäfer (Dytiscus marginalis) ist der häufigste Schwimmkäfer in Mitteleuropa. Die Weibchen, wie auf diesem Foto, sind an den grünbraunen Deckflügeln und Längsrillen zu erkennen.
Gelbrandkäfer sind nicht nur sehr gute Schwimmer, sondern auch gute Flieger.
