oh, those admirable gingko trees! they've been on earth for so long, and yet they still seem to enjoy life as incurable optimists, coming on strong towards the end by going down radiantly each year, obviously loving both autumn and its final bitter-sweet glory!! ; ) love how the glowing city trees reign supreme in this image, rendering the people an afterthought! new york's central park: THE place to be in autumn, as we know from countless hollywood flicks… it's where harry and sally buried the hatchet and became friends, lovers… and supposedly, a nuclear family like the one we see here…; ) greetings, sabine.

In many ways , the ddest ttime of the year, when the leaves must dy and fall from the trees, but they do it in style. Turning to the reds and golds that we love to see and as theyfall from the tree, they create the most beautiful carpet for us to walk on.
A beautiful scene...and I would love to be there kicking my way through those leaves just like a child :))))
