Lhachu valley

From here it is still six to seven hours trekking to the day’s final destination with no shelters in between. This route goes through a vast and high grasslands where the pilgrims wander on miry ground. Every step was hard due walking on the whet and soft grass floor was like walking through the swamp.

My picture is taken in May 2004 with a NIKON CoolPix 5000.
