a tunnel under a very busy street connecting two parts of the Botanical Garden of the University of BC in Vancouver ...

for the June exercise P.o.V. I have taken 3 different views of this tunnel as to me point of view also means photographing the same motiv from different "angles"

ta-da! welcome to the theater at the end of the tunnel! what? yes, of course, i can tell you what's playing: dramatized version of frances hudgson burnett's "the secret garden"! ; ) a view from the darkness of the tunnel into the light… rites of passage come to mind: to journey through unknown territory, to pass adventures, to die a symbolic death in a bleak place and to be born again into the light of a new ideal state… great image and concept, adele!! hugs, sabine.
