Lockeed F-117A

This 35 mm photograph pays homage to the first generation of radar evading stealth aircraft in the USAF. Nicknamed by pilots as the "Woblin Goblin" due to it's unstable flight characteristics. It was given a name befitting a fighter but in truth was never a fighter but was always an attack aircraft dedicated to bombing missions. These aircraft have now been retired, replaced by the second generation of stealth aircraft, the B-2 Spirit and the third generation of stealth aircraft, the F-22 Raptor.
