"The Prospect of Whitby" A wonderful piece of old time setting in the form of old ship with its very hospitable owners claiming origin since late 1700. Some venture to go as back as 1550!! More than fifty brands of hand brewed ale wait on the reception with testers for you to chose one to your own liking....
A friend asked to book for Christma Eve.
"....You are very welcome with pleasure,sir, if you mean 2018 Christmas Eve.. We are fully booked since August!" was the bar tender's reply....!
Sometimes excessive vanity leads to exageration..!
(Whitby is a little fishing village in north Yorkshire. To my humble opinion together with the nearby Robin Hoods Bay are among the most beautiful places in England,,,)
