M & M

... or some "eye-candy" for the Subway Fan ;-)

In the Bushwick section of Brooklyn, two New York Subway system M trains of R160 railcars
meet, just outside the Knickerbocker Avenue Station on the Myrtle Avenue elevated line.

In the tele-compressed distance one can see the next station in the direction of the line's terminus
(Middle Village - Metropolitan Av), Myrtle-Wycoff, where the M meets the L (running underground).
The train on the right is headed for Middle Village in Queens.

The train on the left is Manhattan-bound, via the Williamsburg Bridge (on tracks it will share with the J and Z), and after scooting up the Sixth Avenue line, it will end up in Queens as well, but in a different part of the borough, Forest Hills.

The gull's not sure of his destination, but it probably involves something to eat.

The original photo was taken on a summery early October afternoon in 2018 and makes its first appearance today.
