Manhattan Towers - No. 2
Though only a visitor, taking in this view on an evening in 2013 brought forth a powerful admiration for the indomitable spirit of the City of New York, especially considering the gut-wrenching view that would have been seen from here about twelve years earlier.
Twilight brings a special glow to the Lower Manhattan skyline, seen here from the promenade along the Hudson River at Exchange Place, Jersey City. The view is toward the World Financial Center, with the newly topped off Freedom Tower (One World Trade Center).
If you're wondering, the "second" mast on 1WTC was part of the final stages of completion of the building when this photo was shot in June 2013.
The view, on this crystal-clear evening was captured on Kodak Ektar-100 film
in my Canon EOS-620 (*) through a Tamron 28-200mm LD lens.
