Modern art, framing the "Gedächtniskirche" in the background. Nice point of view resulting in a good composition with the dominant sculpture in the foreground and great depth beyond.
The scenery is somehow typical for the postwar Berlin, as not being particularly beautiful but at least interesting after having been built up again after allied bomb raids in WW II. If I had a choice I'd prefer Hamburg for its charme.
Nevertheless a fine b&w impression of the german capitol.
