    a fantastic capture of this huge group ... you must have been so close - a
    great and somewhat scary experience (depending on the boat you are on :-)))
    and a superb sharp capture of these sea lions !!!

      Thanks for that, Adele. I was lucky enough to be on a motorboat with a great skipper, so it was not scary (but note to self: waves plus tele zoom demands much higher aperture speeds). The interesting thing was the overwhelming pungent and horribly bad smell of those wonderful animals (and the constant grunting and "blubber-burping", or whatever you would call those sounds).
