My hometown on the first day of autumn.
Sisak is a city of more than 2000 years old, which lies on the three rivers: Sava, Kupa and the Odra.
In this photo is the river Kupa that flows through city center.
The bridge over Kupa was built in the 1934th as a replacement to an older wooden bridge dating from the 1862nd. At a time when the concrete was already in widespread use, this bridge was built from traditional materials, stone and brick, wich highlight its graceful forms. The citizens spontaneously named it 'Old Bridge' (Stari most), the name eventually became oficiall and the bridge became one of the symbols of the city of Sisak.

Hi Sanjaindeed, a very beautiful perspective, seen at a also beautiful day. The people did a lot of work in the embankment ...
One Tipp: Next time try to go back some meters to have more from the shore (below) in the frame ...

Beautiful picture of your hometown. Unfortunately I hadn't the opportunity to visit this city in the past (always when coming to Croatia I have to visit my friends in Zagreb and Marija Bistrica).Regards

Ich war noch nie in Kroatien, aber eine Urlaubsreise nach Dalmatien ist schon in Planung.
