Sabine is so right with her comment. However, it should not be taken personally. A vast majority of the voters likes nature and landscape. Thus, its quite normal that People, Street and Documentary dont get through so often. Thats just the way it is. We can live with that.

i'm missing those explanations for "contra"! gosh, how could one NOT want to see this in the gallery?! and gosh, how could i have missed it before?! ; ) love the childlike happiness of the scene, the natural intimacy – nothing artificial or forced about it! – the no-nonsense love that sparkles and shines through it. a shot that overwhelms us with its humanity and yet there's nothing embarrassing or akward about it – authentic and original! greetings, sabine.
