Nesting Boxes

for the Purple Martins .... a large swallow whose numbers were decimated at one point and who rely on the help of humans supplying these boxes for them in areas close to the water.

A nice vew on these charming little birds .
It seems to me that we see less and less of these birds.
By the sea, or Under the roof of the farms where they usualy build their nests.

    I love these littlte boxes.
    A Hug

This is a very good image of the homes we have replaced for all the land we humans have taken up for ourselves. Excellent!

: ))) love the welcoming gesture of the bird – delicate triangular wings spread wide! "mi casa es su casa!" he seems to say, or else he's inmate 01-42 of an aerial alcatraz, wanting OUT – come to think of it… it's kinda sad, really… ; ))) sorry, don't mind me, adele! ; )) hugs, sabine. p.s.: their little "spring garden": quite impressive! but the numbers of their condominiums : ))) are still cracking me up, though… wonder what the wire is for? to keep birds of prey off??

ein interessantes Foto und eine gute, menschliche Idee den Vögeln zu helfen sich wieder entsprechend anzusiedeln.

....another great shot of the nesting boxes for the purple martins, I see a lot of them around the city and state parks that have lakes, also ranchers and farmers that have ponds and lakes put them up to attract the purple martins because they help control the mosquitoes and other pesky insects......
Hugs and best wishes for a great day,
