taken in August when it is beastly hot and humid and the rain causes the run-off from the Rio Cuale to turn the water of the ocean orange or brown ... an unusual sight.

Sound like my kind of beach ... no tourist :-) I like the two men leaning on the palm tree and waiting !!! a good shot with lots of depth and top colours.

Das ist ein sehr interessantes Foto, was man auch nicht alle Tage zu sehen bekommt. Ein Fluß schwemmt seine "Mitbringsel" ins Meer.

yes, what a strange mocca latte color the ocean has! oh, but the timeless elegancy of this shot!! ballet of the palm fronds in the shadows on the white stone, and vendors dressed (in languid white) for the occasion… an image laden with ye another kind of atmosphere, but just as atmospherical as your preceding image of the lady in pink! hugs, sabine.

Bad situation for them...but the picture is so nice with the shadows of palm trees on the ground..

Das Wasser schaut nicht einladend aus, aber es ist mal ein ganz anderes Bild von Meer und sehr interessant, wenn man liest, woher das kommt. LG
