The wonderful sky is the subject and attracts my eye! Need just a tiny piece of shore to balance that. regards Bert

  It was a big sky - but very cold. Today it is grey with snow and sleet. Spring has been postponed this year. Mark.

  Yes - the sandy shore was a bit dull - but the sky - and the clouds were great. You don't usually see such dramatic, high altitude clouds in England. For us - it was an unusual sky. Mark.

  Thanks. We should be grateful for any blue sky at all - the weather we've been having. I'm glad you liked the Oamaru pictures, (elswhere). This strange, little town in new Zealand has, at its centre - a Coquet street, a Tyne Street and an Aln Street - and a "Criterion" pub at their junction (reminiscent of the Criterion Pub in south shields). Mark.
