Not With A Bang But A Whimper
This one is based on a line from a t.s. eliot poem called "The Hollow Men." Sometimes it seems that this world is reeling, diseased and likely to die altogether. The last lines of the poem:
This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends
Not with a bang but a whimper.
