i agree with vegar moe nilsen: to look at this portrait is truly a "sensation" in both senses of the word!! a face with a very powerful aura, that literally "gets to you", transcending its "virtual reality" and reaching out for us from the computer screen! i feel the old man's pride, his sadness, his skepticism, the life pulsating in his veins, sense his "humanity" which is literally radiating from his sunburnt skin, while i scan his features… GREAT! kind regards, sabine.
