Did you know that goats are one of the oldest domesticated animals in the world ?
9000 years BC (!) they were already kept in India for their milk and meat.

My shot shows a father and son of the Saanen breed.

The Saanen goat (also known as just Saanen) is a Swiss breed of domestic goat and is considered the most productive milk goat in the world (between 3 & 5 liters of milk a day).

Dutch name : Saanengeit
German name : Saanenziege
Latin name : Capra aegagrus hircus
