Overnight stay in the ger
Mongolian people call the yurt as "ger"
A ger is a portable, bent wood-framed dwelling structure traditionally used by nomads in the steppes of Mongolia. The structure is usually covered by layers of fabric and sheep's wool felt for insulation and weatherproofing.
When we were on the way to the next destination called Erdinetsagaan we were strictly advised to avoid driving after dawn. Its very dangerous to drive through the steppe in the night and we could easily loose the way.
We found an end of the day in this gers celebrating a great party and we all - host and guests - were emptying too many bottles of vodka.
We were warned: Mongolian people are much more able to hold one's drink!
