This peony has unfolded in the garden today! The sun and hot temperature has helped.

looks like you took this shot in our back yard, sally! ; )) we have pink peonies there, and all of them in full bloom – a lovely sight, except – and here comes the difference ; )) – your picture here looks so much better than my sorry attempts to capture them "on film" ; ))! a pink dream indeed, sally!!! won't stick my nose all the way in, though, don't like their strong scent because it always reminds me of the taste (yep, i know that's strange!) of an "over-spiced" sweet bagel… hugs, sabine.

A pink beauty - just for you, Sally .... I can see the brilliant sun in your image and the shadows and nuances of pink that she has created. Lovely!!!
We still don't have warm temperatures and way too much rain .... still, Nature has done its magic with blossoms and insects.
