The polar bear is one of the largest land predators in the world. In an upright position, it can grow up to 3 m tall and normally weighs up to 550 kg. Despite its enormous size, the polar bear is very fast.
They can reach speeds of up to 40 km/h when hunting prey.
They are solitary animals and only come together with other polar bears for mating.
The cubs are the size of a guinea pig at birth and stay with their mother for two to three years.

Der Eisbär ist eines der größten Landraubtiere der Welt. In aufrechter Haltung kann er bis zu 3 m groß werden und wiegt normalerweise bis zu 550 kg. Trotz seiner enormen Größe ist der Eisbär sehr schnell.
Auf der Jagd nach Beute kann er eine Geschwindigkeit von bis zu 40 km/h erreichen.
Sie sind Einzelgänger und kommen nur zur Paarung mit anderen Eisbären zusammen.
Die Jungen sind bei der Geburt so groß wie ein Meerschweinchen und bleiben zwei bis drei Jahre bei ihrer Mutter.
