Preßnitztalbahn along the Wildbach
A double-headed steam-powered goods train of the narrow gauge Preßnitztalbahn in the
Erzgebirge region of Eastern Germany rumbles through the pine forests along the Wildbach.
This photo is one of many images taken in both color and B+W on my first visit to this railroad in February 2008. My guide was German friend and fellow photographer Thomas Reitzel. His railroad photography is nothing short of superb, as his followers in fotocommunity will attest.
From an Ektachrome 100SW transparency.
