And the bride they have in the middle.
The first step of the weeding was finished, the fixed marriage will happen 10 days later and I'll continue with further photos.

The traditional Balinese wedding is preceded by either a bride kidnapping or a collusion between the parents.
While the latter is handled like in India and is only rarely practiced, the "bride kidnapping" is only symbolic.
The groom kidnaps the bride for 10 days from the homestead of the initiated father-in-law and lives with her in a hiding place. The father-in-law will round up the whole village to go on the symbolic search for the "lost" daughter.
A short time later, the wedding preparations begin, which will end in 10 days with a magnificent Hindu ceremony - with dance and gamelan orchestra - in one of the large village temples.
Nest photos with the further step of the wedding party will come after 11th November 2022.

Eine Art von Jungesellinnenabschied :-))) Zu wem schauen die denn alle so interessiert, zum Fotografen ja offensichtlich nicht, da muss es noch einen attraktiven Mann gegeben haben :-))))

  Das ist schnell erklärt! Der künftige Ehemann I Made Oka Gunavan kommt an den Damen vorbei, um die künftige Ehefrau Ni Komang Maya Santi für 7 Tage zu entführen. Der Ort der Entführung bleibt geheim (aber ich kenne ihn:-)).
  Bis dahin soll der künftige Ehemann nicht gezeigt werden. Erst am 11. Nov. ist die eigentliche Hochzeit mit Beurkundung und allen weiteren Festlichkeiten im Hause des Ehemanns Oka - und ich bin wieder als Fotograf dabei.
