Red-flowering Currant.
The Red-flowering Currant is a shrub that originates from the west coast of the United States and British Colombia (Canada).
The attractive flowers are produced in early spring at the same time as the leaves emerge.
Dutch name : Siertrosbes
German name : Blut-Johannisbeere
Latin name : Ribes sanguineum

Wonderful to see your great shot of these lovely blossoms after mine are all gone in the garden. The light and sharpness in blossom and leaf are exquisite!Here they bloom in white, light pink or very dark pink.
