Ruby's Grave
First the bad news: Ruby, our beloved cat, died recently. She was 18 and died peacefully in her sleep. This is her grave, as seen from our kitchen window. She is missed.
Now the good news: Personally, I'm doing pretty well now. The doctors wanted to wait until I had recovered from the Whipple surgery before tackling my prostate cancer. Just started radiation treatment a couple of weeks ago. Will have 39 treatments, then take hormone shots for a couple of years. I get a bit tired and sleepy in late afternoons, but that should end a few weeks after the treatments are over. I haven't had the urge to do much photography in the past couple of years, but occasionally see something I must capture...nothing brilliant, but then again none of my pictures ever approached brilliant.

I am doing pretty well now, thanks Inez. Miss being on fc, but haven't done much photography lately. Been sharing my old stuff on FaceBook...can't see any other use for FB.Inez Correia Marques 07/03/2011 20:49

Hi Tom,it's so good to hear from you and to hear these good news!
I wish you a speedy recovery from the treatments and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your photos again!
This lush green scenery looks like an ideal resting place for your beloved cat...and I love the idea that you can see it from a window in the house.
Take care!
Kind regards,
Claire
