Scott's Run, Early Autumn
Frontal passages over the past few weeks have brought high winds that have pretty well swept away
the remaining colorful autumn leaves, but it is at least a comfort to re-live the colorful autumn we did enjoy,
with photos I've not yet had the chance to share..
This one goes back to a glorious autumn afternoon in early October at a favorite location in northern Virginia.
The placid stream, running through this nature preserve in Fairfax County will find its way to the
rugged bluffs above the Potomac and cascade down into that rushing river, just below Great Falls.
