Severn Twilight Calm
An enjoyable afternoon of photography along the Severn on Maryland's Broadneck Peninsula, across the river from downtown Annapolis, had given way to the realization I hadn't eaten in too many hours ;-)
The Severn Inn, close by Jonas Green Park, where I was shooting, with its outdoor deck overlooking the Severn looked inviting. It was a fine spot for luxuriating in the golden hours with a cup of tangy Maryland Crab Soup, a platter of crab cakes, and a cold drink...all enhanced by Mother Nature's photographic bounty of sunset tones giving way to twilight blue over the gently lapping waters below.
Around here, they call it "The Land of Pleasant Living." I think you can see why
in this view from the Severn Inn's deck looking down the Severn toward the Chesapeake Bay.
