Surfin' feeling

Part of a series of surfing photos. The guys are surfing on a city river only a few yards wide!

I liked the feeling of action here. But nevertheless not really happy with the final result.
Cropped, tonal correction, sharpening, darkened light areas.
I welcome your comments and critique.
Original: Nikon D70, Raw, Sigma 18-200mm, 95 mm, f/20, 1/10s. Matrix. White balance: cloudy,

    @Rob and Ruud, thanks for your honest feedback and tips
    I'll try to go back one weekend before the winter and try again with a faster shutter speed / wider aperture.
    Ruud, I'm glad you like the others. Also f20 but 1/80s -0.7, 55mm. True, you don't often catch surfers at this angle;-)

    I like the feeling of action but for me, just a bit much. A slightly faster shutter which still showed the movement on the surfer but less water blur...cheers..Rob

    Die Bewegung kommt in dieser Aufnahme sehr gut rüber.

    @Luc,
    I did want a special effect like you sometimes get with sports photos: the subject sharp and the background blurred, giving a dynamic feel. But there was maybe too little light. Or I didn't move quick enough with the subject.
    ISO was 200.

    hi Kathryn,
    guess the speed is too low to take real sharp pics, unless you wanted that effect. mine were taken at 1/100sec. what iso were you using, 200?
