Teakettle junction
Been thru there a couple times but never saw so many teakettles hanging there.
It's a junction of 2 dirt roads and as the story goes, had once upon a time, an old teakettle lying by it. When giving directions, local people would tell travelers to "turn left at the teakettle," and soon the place gained the name Teakettle Junction. After the actual road sign was put up, someone hung a teakettle on it. This started a trend which continued to this day. Another thing people do is to leave messages on the teakettles.
One road leads to the famous moving rocks and the other over hunter mountain (rough and steep, but very scenic) eventually back to Hwy 190.
