good documentation....how big was the spider?
we saw lots of the red-knee tarantulas - really big ones - when we were travelling from mazanillo down the coast to acapulco. the americans call them "mexican red". that was amazing. despite me having arachnophobia we stopped and took some pics. brave as i was (;-)) i even held my hand close to the spider in order to demonstrate its seize ;-)
must digg for the pics so that we can scan them...
