In fact this is not a real factory but is some kind of workshop wich is belong to the Ashram (spiritual commune) of Indian Guru Shree Aurobindo situated in South India, state Tamil Nadu. This plase looks very retro but it is working very succesfuuly still now. It is very tipical for India - very old mashines and other technical suff, some of them even from XIX centure, exploited in modern days. India is very exating place for industrial archeologists and photographers. I have a lot of pic like this.SPERRZONE 18/05/2003 1:09
very good documentation. looks completely different than factories of textile industry i know here in europe. do you know when this factory was closed??greeetz,
