In VanDusen Gardens on Dec. 2 with the pond and floating bridge and some of the Bald Cypresses -

The Bald Cypress growing to up to 40m is usually found in swamps and is deciduous, although her leaves look like tiny needles. She loses them in November, and trees and forest floor are covered in rusty red.
