Später wurde ich von den Dachdeckern zu einem Tee in das Black House eingeladen und konnte den Eigentümer kennenlernen. Er hatte schon ein hohes Lebensalter erreicht und seine Finger waren vom vielen Rauchen schon ganz gelb. Er lebte dort sehr einfach und der einzige Luxus war ein kleiner tragbarer Fernseher. Die Toilette befand sich im "Anbau". Leider habe ich mich nicht getraut ihn zu fotografieren, da ich ihn in seiner Würde nicht verletzten wollte.
Es war trotzdem ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis.

Later on I was invited from the workers to have a cup of tea together we the old crofter. In his old age, he had yellow fingers from a lot of smoking. He lived a very basic life and his only luxury was a small transportable television. His toilet was in an atteched little cultivation. Unfortunately, I don´t had the heart to take a picture of him, because I couldn´t really speak to him and haven´t known if he would comply. It was nevertheless a very special experience.
