This is the stump in which I photographed the White Milking Bonnet fungi last autumn (see picture below).

Winterstimmung pur.... frostige FArben die die Kälte erahnen lassen aber dann doch mit dem Baumstumpf einen warmen Akzent gesetzt.Hervorragende Umsetzung.

Die Natur im Eis erstarrt.....Der wunderschön vom Licht beleuchtete Baumstumpf bringt eine gewisse Wärme ins Winterfoto.
Gefällt mir sehr gut auch vom Bildaufbau,Mark!

I like the idea.. but using polarizing filter or playing with the settings the sky would be a bit more of interest instead of blank and dull (just a little bit on the top is blue).. I am sure the sky that day was miraculously blue and clear...Regards,
