The fungi kingdom consists of amazing and fascinating creatures.
Have a look at this unique dog vomit slime mold with its peculiar yellow appearance.
It’s a creeping fungus that moves very slowly.
Slime moulds are usually growing on old well-rotted logs in damp and shady forest areas, because there they can find the moisture and bacteria required for survival.
A typical summer appearance that can also be found in autumn.
Dutch name : Heksenboter
German name : Gelbe Lohblüte
Latin name : Fuligo septica
