Beautiful capture of this male blackbird. I once had a lovely pair attending my feeding place for six years. The male did suddenly not show up anymore. The female defended the place for a while against a "new" male but did also disappear than. Crows took most of their chicks. The survival rate was 1-2 youngsters each year/from three broods p.a..jb
