The luthier, singer & bouzouki player Jiannis Loulourgas / Samos, Greece, 2010
A good friend of mine, the luthier, singer and bouzouki player Jiannis Loulourgas from the village of Pythagorio. During the season he plays every night - together with fellow musicians and friends - in the restaurant "Dolichi" in the harbour, which is run by his wife. Most of the time he will play Rebetika style songs.
Interested in musical instruments like 6- or 8-string Bouzouki, Baglamas and Tsouras? Come and visit him in his workshop "Pythagorios" in Pythagorio!
