This series is an attempt to illustrate how life was going on in the Middle Ages.
Iron helmets were an important part of the combat equipment of a knight and they existed in various shapes.
I will show you the 4 most popular types.
Let's start with the one I would call 'a classic' :-))

an excellent shot to bring close what it must have been like to be a knight (in shining armour ???) so claustrophobic with restricted vision and breathing and talking - how did they do it .... not to speak of the heavy chain armour !!!greetings, Adele
