The Minotaur and the Hare
For s. sabine krause
with many thanks for all your great comments and for your lovely bunny stories. This is all I could find for you - a new art installation in VanDusen Gardens, ca. 2 1/2 meters high and totally out of springs, wire and chicken fencing.

For me this is possible piece of happyness to be in such nice park. It is really looks like Picasso works in graphics..By the way do you know who is the author of this work ?Dagmar Illing 19/10/2009 19:41
The little hare and the big minotaure seem to be very good friends!Stunning sculputre with fine details! I am really surprised about the material and what the artist made out of that.

: )))) beautiful shot and sculpture, adele!! thank you so much for dedicating it to me!! you didn't know this, but the minotaur is one of my "favorite myths". and there's this great american novel that i just love: it's by steven sherrill, and called "the minotaur takes a cigarette break" – it deals with the minotaur coming to north carolina and working as a line cook in a steak restaurant… so you really picked the perfect shot for me ; )) amazing, too, how tender and caring the wire being comes across! love it! great crop, too, with his huge fist at the edge of the picture and the "hint of a tree" framing the two… have a great week, adele! hugs, sabine.Ayse Nalan Yasin 19/10/2009 7:11
