The old ladies appartment
The spaces people live in have kind of their own life - they are formed by the people, but the other way around also create an atmosphere that is closely linked to the mentality of the person inhabiting the space.
This picture was taken during a six month stay in Rome where I shared an appartment with an old lady and loved to capture her emotions as expressed by her spatial environment.
