The strolling couple.
Strolling in Lasa streets a striking element is silence.. One can hear the steps on the road..Scanty vehicles, many religious sites with most famous the Potala Palace and the Jokhang Temple in the city center crowded by worshipers, few shops but plenty of open markets in which people move massively but also discretely.
In Tibet all pray for the return of their religious leader Dalai Lama.

There seem to be no happy smiling faces here Alexander, and that is so very sad... that they feel that they have to go around in silence.
